We serve more than 150,000 members and their communities. Our goal is to promote health for all Oregonians regardless of income or social circumstances. That means expanding our network to include 1,530 primary care providers (serving members who receive their care in community health centers, academic health centers, large health system or group practices or private practice groups); 6,550 specialists; 43 hospitals statewide; and 34 public health departments.
We’re dedicated to achieving world-class health care. Our members deserve the best care. So do their communities. And we believe the only way to slow the increase in health care costs is to improve the quality of care we receive per dollar. So our goal is to learn from the best, and apply those lessons here to transform health care in Oregon.
Our work extends well beyond our own backyard through collaboration with global health care partners. We are also committed to several initiatives focused on improving the state of Health Policy.
