CareOregon’s Medicaid Plans
The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is the state’s Medicaid program paid for
by federal and state taxes. CareOregon is a health plan that
administers OHP benefits and provides a network of providers to meet
members’ medical needs. Benefits and coverage are determined by the
state, based on budget decisions made by the legislature. CareOregon
serves OHP members in 17 counties. Our graphic illustration explains
how CareOregon and OHP work together.
