Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs)
In 2012, the Oregon Legislature set forth its plan transforming the Oregon Health Plan system through Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs). The Oregon Health Authority defines CCOs as "networks of all types of health care providers who have agreed to work together in their local communities" for OHP recipients. CareOregon is engaged in building CCO partnerships with health care providers in multiple counties across Oregon.
