The Experience of Care

It is a primary aim of CareOregon to continually improve the experience of care for our membership. This means a commitment to providing the best customer service, most clear and accurate communications and working with our provider network to insure members have positive encounters with the health care system.

Issues CareOregon is Working On

Some of the member advocacy issues we care about:
  • Equitable, high quality health care for all Oregon Health Plan members
  • Supporting health care transformation through the creation of community based health plans called Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs)
  • Expanding access to primary care clinics
  • Resisting efforts to add co-payments to members
  • Improving access to dental and vision services
  • Connecting in-home and long-term care services to clinical care
  • Co-locating health clinics in community centers with services for children
