Let Oregon's governor and Legislature know your thoughts about health care
The Oregon Legislature has asked Oregonians to help design a great system of health care for the state. The Oregon Health Fund Board, a group of seven people appointed by the governor, has listened to ordinary citizens all over the state and is now writing a report to give to the governor and Legislature.
You may have family or friends who don’t have health insurance, or you may have gone on and off the Oregon Health Plan. You can tell the board of your concerns and suggestions by sending an e-mail to OHFB.Info@state.or.us or writing to OHFB, 1225 Ferry St. SE, Salem, OR 97302. |
The Oregon Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP) is replacing the Medical Care Identification form with a wallet-size ID card. The card will include only your name, ID number and the date the card was issued. It won't be replaced every month. DMAP will start issuing these cards this summer.
