Frequently asked questions about CareOregon's new claims system

Q. Why did you change the old process of sending a refund request letter when CareOregon has overpaid a claim?

A. Now that we have implemented a new claims payment system, QNXT will be automatically recouping overpayments on future claims, so no need to send funds back.

Q. Can I ask to not be included in this process?

A. No, this is an automated process through our claims payment system. You may contact your Provider Representative with further questions. 

Q. How can I find out the most current changes with CareOregon?

A. Go to the Provider section on our web site  to view the "What's New" page for providers.

Q. Where can I find info about your online systems?

A. Go to the Provider section on our web site, select the QNXT, MCNet or Prioritized List application to obtain access.

Q. Can I view your policies and provider manual online?

A. Yes, look under the appropriate heading – Manual, Medical Policies/Forms – are all available in the Provider module. 

Q.Where can I find information about the CareOregon Advantage plan for dual eligible members? 

A. All information about our CareOregon Advantage plan is on the "What's New" page for providers. You can also visit our new CareOregon Advantage web site which currently has information listed for our members.
