Effective June 1, 2007, CareOregon expanded its provider network in Jackson County, Oregon, to include primary care providers (PCPs) affiliated with PrimeCare IPA. This extension means that 82 new PCPs in over 15 locations will begin enrolling Oregon Health Plan members of CareOregon.

"PrimeCare and CareOregon have had a beneficial relationship for several years, but limited only to referral services," said Mike Bond, Executive Director of PrimeCare IPA. "We are pleased to expand our relationship to provide both primary care and specialty care services for CareOregon members in Jackson County."

In addition to primary care provider services, CareOregon members may also access services provided by surgery centers and dialysis facility providers that are part of PrimeCare IPA.
