Together, we can make health care better for all.

CareOregon is committed to a number of initiatives designed to improve health care for all. For example, Releasing Time to Care is transforming nursing in Oregon. It was designed by nurses to free up hospital nursing staff to do what they were trained to do: direct patient care. Four hospitals in Oregon are spreading Releasing Time to Care throughout their organizations. Twelve hospitals in Oregon, California, British Columbia and Alaska are now spreading Releasing Time to Care throughout their organizations. Interested in RT2C for your hospital? TCMC Seeks Board and Advisory Council

May 22, 2012

The Tri-County Medicaid Collaborative (TCMC) is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors and Advisory Council. The organization (which includes CareOregon and numerous other health plans and providers, as well as Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington county health departments) is a proposed coordinated care organization (CCO), which will serve Medicaid recipients in the three counties.

The Board of Directors will govern the TCMC, and will work closely with a Community Advisory Council and clinical advisors. To nominate a board or council member, go to http://tricountycollaborative.org/

TCMC will be responsible for the health of more than 200,000 members of the Oregon Health Plan, working with providers of care and services across the region.  The TCMC health plan will focus on improving patient experiences and supporting better health overall, while ensuring that members receive the right care at the right time.
