Third-party data sharing metrics.
In 2020, CMS announced a promise to put patients first under the Interoperability and Patient Access final rule (CMS-9115-F), allowing members to access to their health information however they choose. Members now have the option to connect with a third-party to view their health information. You can learn more about this on our page about third-party apps and privacy.
Below you can find a report on how often members have requested their data be accessed by a third party.
