CareOregon aligns with CMS standards for vitamin-D testing

CareOregon is aligning with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards for vitamin D testing for CPT codes 82306 and 82652.
Claims received for dates of service on or after 11/15/2025 will be adjudicated following CMS Article, Billing and Coding: Vitamin D Assay Testing (A57736).
CPT codes 82306 and 82652 will only be considered eligible for coverage when performed for the ICD-10 codes that are approved by CMS.
